Last week Room 10 got busy making Manu Tukutuku to display at our school Matariki evening, which was held on Thursday.
In the picture above Kyara and I are proudly holding our Manu Tukutuku that we made. It was a lot of fun to make and learnt a lot while making it. We gathered Toetoe, Raupo and Wool with Miss Hills to assemble our Manu Tukutuku. Unfortunately I couldn’t attend the Matariki night because we had other things happening at the same time as Matariki. I was proud to know that I was able to help create a beautiful Manu Tuku tuku to display for the community to look at.
